The First Steps

For The Secret to work properly you must be in energetic balance with all three levels of your being: physical, emotional, and mental. In order for The Secret to work you must put all three levels of your consciousness to work for the purpose of manifesting. If there is an imbalance in either of these levels then you will only succeed in manifesting a situation that will show you where imbalances exist. If you are not aware of this energetic law then you will become increasingly frustrated with trying to make The Secret work for you as you will encounter situations that seem contrary to your desires. These situations are vital to your spiritual growth. Understanding what the situation has to teach you will show you where you need work and then bring you closer to unleashing the power of your core Being.

My name is Rev. Jamie Buturff and I have consulted with organizations like the Chicago White Sox, The Pentagon, and Mercedes International. The success I have enjoyed came from one important lesson: Health, abundance, and joy is our spiritual nature and if you are experiencing anything other than the complete fulfillment of your dreams and desires it is because you haven't tapped into the power of your true Self.

With the explosion of the teachings of The Secret thousands of people have been told that whatever they think about and focus their attention upon will manifest into their lives. This is true but for most of us the power of manifestation is limited.

Manifesting something requires several things: 1) A complete understanding of who you are, 2) An energetic balance in all three levels of our being: mental, emotional, and physical, and 3) Keen mental focus, emotional discipline, and the right motivation. Let’s face it. If it was easy everybody would be doing it and we would all have whatever we wanted, right? This obviously isn’t the case and this telecourse will give the student the tools necessary to achieve the energetic balance The Secret requires.

What is an energetic balance? The science of quantum physics tells us everything in the universe is made up of energy, including all physical matter. Psychology tells us there are four personality types or temperaments: Choleric, sanguine, phlegmatic, and melancholic. Ancient wisdom teachings tell us all things in the universe are made up of four elements: fire (choleric), air (sanguine), water (phlegmatic), and earth (melancholic). These are just words describing the energy that makes up the universe and the above psychological terms describe what energy is predominating within us human beings. Somebody who gets angered easily, for example, has a choleric temperament and the principle of the fire element is out of balance.

It is important to understand that the use of the terms fire, air, water, and earth are necessary in order to gain insight into our energetic being and will be in use during this course.

The main force in the universe is electromagnetism and includes light, heat, and matter. This force is tetrapolar, or 4-poled. The electric aspect has a positive and negative pole and the magnetic aspect has a positive and negative pole. This fundamental force goes hand-in-hand with the four elements and the four temperaments. The terms you decide to use for your development will be left totally up to you. They all describe the same fundamental energy that we will be working with in this course. Also, the mind corresponds to the fire element or the electric aspect. Our emotional body corresponds to the element of water and is the magnetic aspect. The interplay between these two is the air element and all three together form the solidifying aspect of earth or our physical body. When balance is achieved with all four aspects of our being we will then have the foundation required for manifesting.

Why does this work? Who are we? The Bible tells us we are all created in the image of God. That image, as reflected in nature and the universe, corresponds to the tetrapolar force in everything as described above. Psalm 82:6 states,”Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. Jesus quoted this verse in John 10:34 in His defense for claiming to be God. Jesus was saying that we are all gods. He further says in John 14:12 “He that believeth on me, the works that I do he shall do also; and greater works than these shall he do.”

You have the power within you to do whatever you want. Most of us have just been misled on where that power resides: in you. It’s been there all along. For some of you, completing this course will take several months; for others several years. You will only get out of it what you put in to it. The rightly motivated student will find this teaching very powerful indeed and will be life changing. But it’s going to take patience, perseverance, and love. Love for the Truth, love for yourself, and love for your fellow human beings. Once this course has been completed The Secret will be very powerful for you.
